Dear Steve and family,

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I remember visiting with her so many times when she would be in Winona at Andy or Hannah's birthday celebrations. She was so easy to visit with....and love to talk about the grandkids...Mucjh love to all. Hank and Alyce

Our favorite memories of Bud & Marilyn were the day after our wedding in 1992, we were at Shopko in Green Bay. Who do we run into!!! They were on their way to Door County for a few days! They were our first guests as a married couple. That meant so much after moving away from home, missing everyone. Bud even took our dining room chairs home with him, after their Door County tours. He re-glued them for us! There were many fun conversations at Mikko's baseball and football games & Kelly's softball, basketball & volleyball. We loved visiting their amazing home in Faribault. Ha! Just remembered one more, finding out that our brother-in-law Craig Roessler grew up next door to the Norman's in Rochester. We feel Blessed to have known Marilyn & Bud. Prayers for them and for you in your grieving...Share your memories with each other, you have been very blessed by them.

Just remembered a story I loved about your folks. After they moved to the lake at Faribault, and perhaps towards the end of that chapter in their lives.... Uncle Bud had a camper trailer on skids that had been equipped for ice fishing. He was out on the frozen lake. Aunt Marilyn checked on him every so often... with binoculars!! Remembered thinking.... what a PERFECT marriage! Get just far enough away to have a bit of space. But not so far away you lose sight of heart and home! So blessed to be a part of the Norman klan! My heart is heavy. Steve, Deb, and Scott. Love you all!
