In 2006, Patrick began working at Mayo Clinic in the Office of Sponsored Projects Administration. In 2014, he moved to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he became the Associate Director of Pre-Award Services in the office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Patrick enjoyed home brewing, traveling, music and dancing. He touched many people in positive ways and was never shy about sharing his thoughts and opinions to help others achieve the best they could be. Many of his colleagues felt they were better for having known him.
