I lost my breath when I came across Brian’s obituary. My heart is broken for his family. I had no idea. I met Brian when I started working at SMH 5 years ago, our friendship started on my walk into work one morning when I overheard him talking about a fishing story about one of his boys he was sharing with another mechanic and I smarted off telling him he had no idea how to fish, after that each morning he would great me on my way to work. We shared fishing stories, talked about our families; my sister has cancer and he often asked about her. There was never a day he didn't make me laugh, or change my not so good mornings into great mornings, his smile was infectious, as was his kindness. I’m so very sorry to hear of this news. My deepest sympathy goes out to his entire family, including his shop family. He will be greatly missed!

Sherrie, I knew you and Brian in high school! A long time ago now. My mother just died of the same diagnosis at the end of March of this year. I know how fast the disease goes, and how little can be done for it.
My mother always had her cars serviced at Virgil's and she always commented on how nice Brian was to her and how much she like him. He was such a nice person!
I am very sorry to hear about Brian, and will be thinking of you.

Beth
