I am so sorry for your loss. I was a co-worker of Andy's at FCI Sandstone and he was a very likeable guy. His sense of humor and smile will surely be missed. He greeted many of us every morning with a joke and a smile in the front lobby. You are all in my thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. I worked with Andy at Apache Mall. Andy would have made a great police officer. Andy had the passion and qualities needed today in Law-Enforcement. Andy had the greatest smile that could light up any room. I will miss talking to him about his hunting adventures.
Again please except my condolences on your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this most difficult time. I worked with Officer Schlake at FCI Sandstone, I didn't know him well, but every interaction was always with a smile and a joke to start the day. He was a nice young man and will surely be missed around here!!

Dear Dean, Kris, Justin, Sarah, and Beth,

I am deeply saddened to hear about Andy. I remember coming over when I was younger to play, and there wasn't ever a time he didn't make me laugh. I saw him when he worked at the mall a couple times, and we got to catch up a bit. He was such a great person and will be missed by many. Words cannot express the hurt you must be feeling, but I hope the memories you have can get you through this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Ginger

To all of the Schlake family: I am so sorry for the loss of your son and brother. I remember Andy when he was the "little" one growing up on the lake. Aaron and Nicole (my children) spent time at the beach swimming and hanging out with you all when we lived at Lake Zumbro (up on top of the sandpit). May God bless you and hold you all through this difficult time. Just know u have friends from the past praying and thinking of u.

Working with Officer Schlake here the last two years has been a pleasure, I'm deeply saddened by the loss. He was always there to help us new guys, to crack a joke, or just shoot the breeze... He was a good man to have known, I know the times I turned to him for help and advice he was always there with a smile to help me along my path here at FCI Sandstone. I'm sure everyone of us gained something from having known him. My thoughts and prayers are with all that morn his loss.

May Jehovah God bring comfort to Andrew's dear family in their time of need. Psalms 34:18 warmly says that He is near to those that are broken at heart.
