Belva "Bebe" Ann Kothenbeutel

Belva A. "Bebe" Kothenbeutel, 96, of Rochester, passed away on September 10, 2026, at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester.

Bebe was born on March 21, 1930, to Donald and Dorothy (Decker) Geise. On January 14, 1949, she married the love of her life, Luverne Kothenbeutel. Together, they raised their two daughters, Ladonne Kothenbeutel and Jo Ann (Irv) Keefe.

Bebe worked at Mayo Clinic and later at the Cookie Canister. She was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and treasured the time spent with those she loved. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but her favorite pastime was square dancing. Belva especially cherished her time with her grandsons and great-grandchildren.

Bebe will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Ladonne Kothenbeutel and Jo Ann (Irv) Keefe; grandsons, Kasey (Karlyn) Keefe and Mickey (Samantha) Keefe; great-grandchildren, Rylie, Jaxson, Easton, Chloe, and Finn; and extended family, the Nonns.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luverne; her parents; and her brothers, Dick and Bob.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.
