Benjamin Dale Dirstine passed away November 15, 2021 at the age of 22. Ben was a graduate of John Marshall High School, Rochester MN, class of 2017. Ben was attending the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Ben had many interests and loved computers, math, physics, Formula One racing, video games and esports, particularly League of Legends. Ben is survived by his loving parents Adam and Shelly (Stevenson, WA), sister Rachel (Otsego, MN); grandparents Mariea and Leonard Nelson (Minot, ND) and Mary Ann Dirstine (Vancouver, WA); aunts and uncles Lynne and Hal Mickelson (Crookston, MN), Marvin and Brenda Nelson (Idaho), Mickie Dirstine (San Jose, CA), and Sandy McQueen (Kandiyohi, MN); cousins Samantha and Taylor Buma (Amboy, WA), Micah McQueen (Austin, TX), Simone Bentley (Idaho), Joel and Anastasia McQueen (Buffalo, MN), Kenan McQueen (Crookston, MN), Levi Nelson (Idaho), Joshua and Kali McQueen (Bloomington, MN), and great nieces and nephews. Ben was preceded in death by his grandfather Norman Dirstine. Ben was a shining beacon of love for his family. He will be forever missed. A Celebration of Ben's life will be held 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a time of remembrance at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Center, 5482 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN.
