Betty Pamela Beach

Betty Beach, age 93, of Rochester, died May 1, 2026, at Benedictine Living Community-Rochester Madonna Towers.

Betty was born May 3rd, 1932, in Sunningdale, Berkshire, England, the daughter of Thomas and Ethel Rance. She grew up in Sunningdale, England with her sister Connie, and worked as a salesperson in a grocery store when first leaving school.

She married Reginald Beach on July 14th, 1951. The couple moved to Staines, England, where they made their home until they moved to the U.S.A. in 1959 to be closer to her sister Connie in Chester, Iowa.

Betty's hobbies were knitting baby clothes for friends and family, embroidery, and she also loved to travel and go ballroom dancing.

While living in Iowa, she worked at Donaldson Filter Factory in Cresco, Iowa for twenty years. After retiring, she spent some of the winters in Arizona with her husband. Then they started to go to Naples, Florida for the winters as it was better for her husband's health.

Eventually they moved to Rochester to be nearer to their two sons and closer to Mayo Clinic.

She is survived by her two sons, David (Dawn) Beach and Tim (Linda) Beach; three grandchildren, Jamie (Sarah), Josh (Ali), and Nicole (Michael) Liazuk; great-grandchildren, Emmi, Tristin, Ryland, Tiara, Jonathan, Michael, and Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Casey, and nephew Robert.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Benedictine Living Community-Rochester Madonna Towers - Skilled Nursing and Mayo Hospice for the care.

Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Pl NW, Rochester, MN 55901. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
