Carole Finseth

Carole Susan Finseth, 80, of Rochester, MN passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, after a long and fulfilling life as a wife, mother and grandmother. Carole was born in Rochester on May 23, 1945, to Alfred and Alta (Irish) Betcher.

Following high school, Carole married Michael Dahle and together they had 4 children. Later, they divorced and she met Paul Finseth. Together, they enjoyed a life of golfing, playing cards with friends, supporting their favorite MN sports teams, especially the MN Vikings, dining out and being active participants in their grandchildren's lives. They enjoyed nothing more than supporting them at sporting and school events.

Carole is survived by her loving sister, Gloria Leferink; her children, Tod (Tess) Dahle of AZ, Lesa Zawislak of AZ, Aaron (Sandra) Dahle of AZ, Jennifer Dahle of Rochester, and 26 Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; and her best friend, Shirley Heim.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Paul; her son-in-law, Steven Zawislak; two sisters, two brothers and her parents.

A private memorial service will be held in May 2026 to celebrate Carole's life, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
