Charles M. Bergerson, 81, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Madonna Towers in Rochester, MN. Charles "Chuck" Martin Bergerson was born February 19, 1941 Belgrade, MN. He started his insurance career in Rochester and raised his family there. He had a very successful career selling insurance, starting at MFA and then moving to American Family. He earned many trips and awards over the years. He was fortunate to retire early. He had a lot of retirement fun. He built a unique cabin style home in Wabasha, MN where he lived for over 20 yrs. He enjoyed road trips, taking pictures and woodworking in his shop. He could literally make or fix anything. He started a successful business making and selling thousands of Green Hornet fishing poles (from the movie Grumpy Old Men). He was a positive person who always had a sense of humor. He loved his boat & his cars, (Pontiac Lemans convertible, Cadillac Eldorado & his PT Cruiser), his John Deere tractors, Spam (yes, in the can) and an ice cold beer with a few green olives. He loved watching Star Trek, The Vikings, commercials and I Dream of Jeannie. He was a big believer in taking a lot of pictures and having fun. A question he would always ask his family, and what you should ask yourself, "What are you doing that's fun?" Chuck leaves behind his 3 daughters; Paula Tice (Aaron), Pam Bergerson, Penni Kittelson (Zeb) and his son, Charlie Bendorf. As well as 6 granddaughters, 1 grandson and 2 great-grandsons.
