Charles Talcott

Charles Allen Talcott, 77, of Byron, MN passed away on March 1, 2026.

Charlie was born in Conneaut, Ohio and adopted into his family at six months old. He grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, where he was active in HS activities and his church youth group. After 4 years in the Navy, he attended Cleveland State University and McCormick Theological Seminary. His first call was as a youth pastor at Worthington Presbyterian Church in suburban Columbus, OH. There he met his wife, Lisa. In 1987 he was called as a solo pastor to Hayfield Presbyterian, where he served until retirement in 2012. Charlie loved friends and family, learning all about small town life in Hayfield, and the youth of his church and the larger community. He also loved golf and traveling with Lisa.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, March 21,2026 at Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre, 5482 Royal Place NW, Rochester MN.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to First Tee of Rochester, Hayfield Presbyterian Church or Seasons Hospice.
