Clifford Schultz

Clifford R. Schultz "Bill", 88, of Rochester, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his home. Bill was born April 21, 1932 in Rochester to Esther Schultz. He worked for Waters Instruments for 30 years and Fairway Shane for 27 years, retiring in 1987. In 1983, Bill married Iva Carpenter at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and going to watch the Honkers with his granddaughter, Nikki. Bill loved riding his motorcycle, going fishing and to car shows, taking long rides with his friends or going on vacation to some of his favorite places, Frankenmuth, Mackinaw or Branson. Bill enjoyed cheesy jokes but also had a caring and loving side that was expressed as he renewed vows to Iva every year at the Little Brown Church. He will be missed. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Iva; children, Morgan Dale and Machelle Livingood; grandchildren, Nikki Nevels, Corey Nevels and J.D. Nevels. Bill was preceded in death by his son, James; mother, Esther and by three half-brothers, Alfred, Frank and Leonard. A funeral to celebrate Bill's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Viola Bible Church, 10606 Main St. NE, Viola, MN 55934. Visitation will be held from noon until time of the service. Pastor James Benson and Pastor Les Stevens will be officiating with interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
