Cudier Kak Dak

Cudier Kak Dak was born on October 6, 2000, in Omaha, Nebraska, to her loving parents, Mary and Kak. Her journey began in Omaha, where she attended elementary school before her family set out on a path that would eventually lead them to Minnesota.

When Cudier was six, the family moved to Rochester, Minnesota. After a brief year in Grand Rapids, Michigan, they returned to Rochester, the city that would become the backdrop for her formative years. Cudier attended Sunset Terrace, Green Valley Adventist school, and John Adams Middle School. She later attended Maplewood Academy and John Marshall High School, where she proudly graduated on May 25, 2019.

As a dedicated member of the Rochester Seventh-day Adventist Church, Cudier lived out her faith through her strength and character. She was known by all as a remarkably caring soul. Cudier possessed a rare gift for connection; she spoke to people with a warmth and familiarity that made them feel like a lifelong friend, even if they had only just met.

Cudier found her greatest joy in the arts. As many who followed her on Facebook can attest, she was a creator at her very core. Whether she was singing, composing her own music, writing poetry, or drawing, these artistic expressions were the windows into her beautiful and gentle spirit.

On the night of January 27, 2026, Cudier left us far too soon. Her memory will be forever cherished and carried on by her parents, Mary and Kak; her siblings, Nyadheal, Nam, and Nyaliep; and the countless lives she touched with her extraordinary kindness.
