Debra Ann Fogarty

Debra Ann (Goodman) Fogarty, 69, of Oronoco, MN passed away on August 30, 2026.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Ann Fogarty, age 69 of Oronoco, MN, a loving wife, cherished mother, stepmother, step-grandmother, sibling, aunt, cousin, and friend on August 30, 2026.

Deborah Ann Goodman was born on May 7, 1957, in Rochester, MN to Frank and Della (Stellmaker) Goodman. She was the youngest of eight siblings.

Debra attended Golden Hill Elementary School in Rochester, MN and graduated from Mayo High School in 1975. In 1976 she married Gerald S. Clark of Oronoco, MN, who lost his life at age 38 after a courageous battle with cancer. They were blessed with two sons, Jason and Jeremy Clark. Debra then met and married Joe Fogarty of Oronoco, MN on July 15, 1998. They were married on Lake Zumbro at Ryan's Bay in Zumbro Falls, MN with their good friends Roger and Linda Pettis standing for them. Roger and Linda have been cherished friends to this present day. Joe and Debra were happily married for 28 years.

Debra was employed by Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for 46 years until 2022 when she retired at the age of 64. She started working at Mayo Clinic at the History Desk then later moved into the Medical Records, Transcription and Billing departments.

Deb enjoyed gatherings with her family and friends, taking trips up north to both Leech Lake and Lake of the Woods to go fishing, and Fall trips to the Hayward, WI area to get outdoors and ride side by side. She also enjoyed going to the casino with her best friends and taking girl's trips. Deb was an excellent cook. She loved cooking and baking for family and friends. She was known for putting her whole heart into family gatherings, and holidays, going all out to make them memorable and festive, especially over Easter and Christmas.

Debra is survived by her Husband, Joe Fogarty of Oronoco MN, her two loving sons Jason Clark (Nicole Mallan) of Lakeville, MN, Jeremy Clark of Oronoco, MN, Stepson Jeremy Fogarty of Zumbrota, MN, Step-grandchildren Olivia and Connor Fogarty of Zumbrota, MN, three siblings, Richard (Kathy) Goodman of Rochester MN, Dale (Judy) Goodman of Rochester, MN and Earl Goodman of Waukon, IA, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Debra is preceded in death by her father Frank L. Goodman, her mother Della E. (Stellmaker) Goodman, her first husband Gerald S. Clark, her siblings, Vernon Goodman, Duane Goodman, Gerald "Punky" Goodman of Rochester, MN and Marlys Kujath of Rochester MN along with several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, with visitation one hour prior. All of which will take place at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN.) Burial will take place at 2 pm at the Oronoco Cemetery located on 5th St. NE in Oronoco, MN.
