Dennis Lyle Hesby was born December 30, 1952, to Barbara and Lyle Hesby in Greely, Colorado. He passed away peacefully, at home in Rochester on December 12, 2025, of natural causes.

Following graduation in International Falls, MN, Dennis joined the US Marine Corp in 1970.

Dennis spent 34 years in Colorado as a Master Plumber. Due to an accident on the job, he became a Delivery Driver for Enterprise in Colorado and recently for Dealerships in Rochester, MN.

Dennis is survived by his children, Crystal Hesby of International Falls, MN, Craig of Fort Lupton, CO., and Casey of Fort Collins, CO. His Grandchildren are Jordan Hesby and Alexa Hesby and Great Grandchildren, JJ Hesby, Axle and Kyrie Hoover. Dennis's siblings are DiAnne (Larry) Koob of St. Joseph, MN, Debbi Smeeth of Thunder Bay, Ont., Douglas Hesby of Milford, IA, Dee Rae (Dale) Votherms of Spirit Lake, IA, Dan Hesby of Rochester, MN and Dana Hesby of Spirit Lake, IA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hesby, his father, Lyle Hesby, his sister, Donna Guthrie and Delores (Dennis) Kliene, his brothers Donald Hesby and Dean Hesby, also, his sisters in law; Karin (Dan) Hesby and Idella (Douglas) Hesby.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in May 2026 to celebrate Dennis's life.
