Elenore Freimund

Elenore Freimund, 88, of Rochester, died on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Mayo Clinic St. Marys Campus. Elenore was born on November 26, 1931 to Juul and Louise (Exe) Johnson in Rock Dell Township in Olmsted County. Elenore was married on August 13, 1953 to Alvin Freimund. They were later divorced. Elenore worked at Methodist Dietary for many years and went to work for Sears for several years. As a young person, Elenore loved dancing to old time music. In her later years, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Sharon) Freimund of Sun City, AZ, Wayne (Tammy) Freimund of Moab, UT, and Robert (Tammy) Freimund of Rochester; sister, Mrs. Ruth Eickhoff of Rochester and seven beloved grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and one brother. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes is honored to be serving the Freimund family.
