Ethan King

Ethan William King was born on June 29th 2005 in Rochester Minnesota. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend whose kind hearted soul, humor and adventurous spirit touched all who knew him. Though his time with us was short, the love, kindness and light he brought to our lives will remain forever.

Ethan was a sweet child who always had something funny to say; affectionately called "Ethanisms". His thoughts showed us his bright intelligence. He grew to have a clear sense of humor. He was always observing and thinking - His personality was larger than life.

Ethan loved spending time with his family and friends - either deer hunting, wheeling/mudding up north or camping and tubing closer to home. He enjoyed working on his truck, listening to music and spending time in the gym. He was a proud graduate of PEM and a member of the football team. Ethan learned how to install gutters and was always a hard worker.

Ethan was deeply loved by his family and friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing him. He was an intensely caring person. A strong, kind and loving man. He had an acute empathetic nature; he would do anything for anyone and was accepting of all. Ethan will be missed dearly and forever remembered for his kind soul, sense of humor and gentle presence.

Ethan is survived by, and will be forever loved and missed by his parents, Jennifer (nee. Watson) and Jon King, brothers Matt Kraus (Hannah) and Aaron King, nephew Asher Kraus, Grandparents Gayle Watson, Annette King and Charles Watson (Theresa), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 3-6pm on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Ranfranz & Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre, 5482 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN.
