Evelyn E. Rethamel Distad (Parker)

ROCHESTER - Evelyn Elenora Rethamel Distad (Parker), 85, died on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Franklin, MN. Evelyn was born in Rochester on September 13, 1925 to Edward and Murriel (Ostrander) Parker. Evelyn was married three times. She was married to Percey Perkins and they had a daughter Nancy Rock (Perkins). She then married Melbourne Distad of Rochester and they had five children, Mel Distad Jr., Carl Distad, Judy West, Candie Distad, and Tracy Distad. Evelyn then married Roland Rethamel. Evelyn enjoyed garage sales and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Evelyn was always there for everyone. Evelyn is also survived by by one sister, Tammi Schultz; 14 grandchildren, Rickie, Shawn, Adam, Andy, Heidi, Jesse, Joy, Amy, Jamie, Ryan, Shane, Brandon, Henery, and Hunter; and 17 great-grandchildren.Evelyn is preceded in death by her three husbands; her parents; two brothers Harry and Floyd Parker; a sister, Opal Bumgard; and a granddaughter, Josephine Distad.
