Florine Ethel Murray

Florine E. Murray, age 88, of Rochester, MN passed away May 23, 2025 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Methodist Campus.

Affectionately known as "Dear" to her late husband, John, Florine "Flo" Murray lived a rewarding life. Flo and John raised five compassionate sons and daughters - Kendall (Kathryn), Joel, Janeen, Steven (Suzanne) and Sara (John). She is survived by her children, 11 precious grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

Flo practiced as a Registered Nurse and later as a Parish Nurse in the Jackson, Lakefield and Rochester MN communities. Flo enjoyed baking, reading, playing cards, and traveling. One of her fondest trips was a visit to the Holy Land in Israel. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester, coordinated Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) groups, participated in the Red Hat Society, and volunteered at places including the Ronald McDonald House and Saint Marys Hospital welcome desk.

May she rest peacefully with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A public visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. A private family service will be held. Burial will be at Oakwood East Cemetery, Rochester, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to a charity of the donor's choice.
