Gene Pearson

Gene D. Pearson, 92, of Rochester, MN passed away on June 11, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester.

Gene was born on April 8, 1932, to Walter and Luella (Stiller) Pearson. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1950. Gene then entered the United States Air Force. After 4 years in the Air Force, Gene started college at the University of Minnesota. Gene was a conservation officer and worked at Waters Instrument, retiring in 1994. In his free time, Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.

Gene married Lorraine Fellows on April 18, 1952, and they later divorced. On October 28, 1987, Gene was united in marriage to Patricia Kruse.

Gene is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters Debbie Pearson, and Janice (Rick) Kingsley; and sons Jeff (Marlys Steen) Pearson, and Jeff (Shelly) Kruse as well as 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, brother Buster "Buzz" (Marilyn) Pearson, and a sister Doris Speranza. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Linda Pearson, and brother Richard Pearson.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester). A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
