James Morton

The family of James "Jim" Archibald Morton is deeply saddened to announce his passing on February 18, 2026, at the age of 91.

He was born on July 9, 1934 to S. Archibald and M. Elizabeth Morton in Milwaukee, WI. After a varied career, Jim returned to college in his 40's and became a registered nurse, a career he found fulfilling. Jim loved his family, the outdoors, traveling, square dancing (where he met Anne), and the Green Bay Packers. He greeted and wanted to talk with all he met and never encountered a bike trail he didn't explore or a "dad" joke he wouldn't try out.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Anne; his sister Mary; his son Eric (Kimberly); daughter Leslie (Michael); son Neil (Barb); his former wife Ann Kirkman Cunningham, and his many grandchildren and friends.

A memorial for Jim will be held at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes on May 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The family invites friends to share memories and celebrate a life well-lived.
