In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Todd Black
August 28, 1956 - July 31, 2025

Jeffrey Todd Black, born August 28, 1956, in Rochester, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in hospice care.

He was the son of Diane and Edward Black and the older brother of Brad Black, who preceded him in death.

Jeff is lovingly remembered by his three children, Amy Black (Los Angeles, CA), Andy Black (Kelli, Pine Island, MN), and Angela Black (Houston, TX), and by his grandchildren, Dylan and Gracelyn Black.

He was supported throughout his life by his former wife and the mother of his children, Linda Bowar. He was also supported by his longtime friend, Barb Mathews, and her children Tony and Crystal Mathews.

Jeff had a deep love for bowling and also the outdoors. He spent many weekends at the lake fishing and hunting. He was happiest on the open road, especially behind the handlebars of a Harley Davidson.

Despite facing significant health challenges, Jeff lived with spirit and resilience during his 25 years in assisted living care.

In accordance with his wishes, Jeff will be cremated.

A celebration of life will be held at Ranfranz Funeral Home at a later date to honor him in the way he would've wanted, genuine and full of laughter and stories!
