Jennifer Lynn Gilsdorf

Jennifer Gilsdorf, age 39, passed away on February 2, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.

Jen was born in Rochester, MN to Cyril and Karen Gilsdorf. She grew up in rural Mazeppa, graduated from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School in 2004, and attended RCTC. She went on to work at Mayo as a PCA and most recently as a Medical Administrative Assistant. Jen loved her family, going on trips with them, being outdoors, bon fires, dancing, classic country, harmonica, her dogs, going for walks, being in the boat, and spending time with friends. Jen was a great inspiration to many friends and family.

Jen is survived by Josh McGurren; her children Jacey and James McGurren; her dog, Grizz; James (Lisa) McGurren; Janaye (Trent) Halverson; nephews Garrett and Eli; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jen was preceded in death by her parents Cyril (Karen) Gilsdorf; infant brother, Corey; her grandparents, Leo (Ethel) Gilsdorf and Allen (Shirley) Casey.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church, 45 1st Ave NE, Oronoco, MN 55960. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Oronoco Cemetery.
