John Rosnau

John M. Rosnau, 67, of Rochester, MN passed away June 2, 2024 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester following months of serious health issues.

John was born June 20, 1956 to George A. Rosnau and Jeanne (Simondet) Rosnau in Mankato, MN. He graduated from High School there and attended Mankato State University.

John excelled in customer service. He had a strong work ethic and was very detail oriented. His work career began at a funeral home in Mankato but the majority of his career was in various aspects of the jewelry industry mostly in Duluth, MN. John moved to Rochester in 2015 where he worked various jobs in the hospitality industry and volunteered his time to several outreach ministries.

John was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by numerous cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal Place NW) in Rochester with Pastor Dale DePeel officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. He will be buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato, MN at a later date.
