Judith McCabe

Judith A. McCabe, age 83, passed away on June 22, 2025 in the presence of family at Edenbrook West Care Center in Rochester, MN.

Judith Ann McCabe was born April 30, 1942 in Larimore, North Dakota to Bernard and Della McCabe. She graduated from Larimore High School as valedictorian in 1960. She received her BA in German and English in 1964 from the University of North Dakota. Judith taught in Eveleth, MN from 1964 to 1967 and in the Rochester Public School system from 1967 to 1998. During that time she taught at Central Junior High School, John Marshall and Mayo High Schools. She was active in the Rochester Education Association. After retirement, Judith was active at the Rochester Senior Center and 125 Live.

Judith loved being with friends, sharing quiet time with her pets, reading, and doing various kinds of word puzzles.

Judith is survived by cousins and friends.

A private family graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Durand, Wisconsin. Memorials are preferred to Edenbrook West, 2215 Highway 52 N., Rochester, MN 55901.
