Kevin Kent Clark, 83, of Rochester, Minnesota passed away on September 27, 2025, at Samaritan Bethany Home on 8th. He was born on November 13, 1941, in Waterloo, Iowa to Howard and Gladys (Irish) Clark.
Kevin graduated from Claremont High School in 1959. He attended the College of the Sequoias in California. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963-1966 with a war time tour of duty in Viet Nam. He remained close to his Marine Corps buddies throughout his life.
On June 2, 2001, he and Marion Higgins were married at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN, where he became a member. Kevin enjoyed all kinds of music from classical to CCR. He also enjoyed woodcarving, cooking and Bible study. Kevin loved to travel, which included several bus trips with Smidt Scenic Travel with their friends Don and Carol Smidt. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, loved by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Clark of Rochester, MN; son Darren, daughter Kelli, grandson Vincent, granddaughter Andrea all of California. Brothers Michael (Sandy) Clark of Claremont MN and Korey (Carol Ann) Clark of Spring TX. He is also survived by Marion's family: Jason (Sue) Higgins, Maureen Travis, Kelly Krohn; grandchildren: Bailee Higgins, Ashley Harwick, Wyatt (Kasey) Travis, Dalton Travis, Tristan Travis, Samuel Whelan, Olivia Whelan; great granddaughter Mia Harwick.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Richard, Gary and Timothy; sister Kris Bieber.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and Sassy at Samaritan Bethany for the loving care they provided to Kevin during his 4 ½ year stay.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester MN. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial of his cremated remains will be at Hillside Cemetery in Claremont, Minnesota.
