Leah Rae Kohlmeyer

Leah Rae Kohlmeyer, 72, of Rochester, Minn. died on Saturday October 23, 2021 after a courageous battle with a long term illness. Leah Rae Kohlmeyer was born January 6, 1949 to Carl and Lorraine Kohlmeyer. She graduated from Chosen Valley High School, Chatfield, Minn. 1967. Leah was a long term employee of the Kahler Hotel in Rochester, Minn. Leah enjoyed music and spending time with friends and family. Leah is survived by her loving companion of 50 years, Tom Demulling of Rochester, MN; father, Carl A. Kohlmeyer of Rochester, MN; siblings, Carl G. Kohlmeyer of Rochester, MN, Galen Kohlmeyer of Naples, FL, Rise' ( Ralph) Holt of Blue Ridge, GA, Marla Buss of Blue Ridge, GA, Giselle (Al) Benitoa of Rochester, MN, and Kent Kohlmeyer of Rochester, MN. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine; brother-in-law, Bruce Buss; and sister-in-law, Susan Kohlmeyer. A private family burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Rochester, Minn. and a celebration of life will be scheduled next year.
