Linda Gail Feia, of Rochester, MN, passed away peacefully at her home on July 10, 2025, at the age of 82.
Linda was born in Marshall, Minnesota, and grew up in Brainerd with her parents, Glen and Geneva (Bruce) Adkins. She graduated from Brainerd High School in 1961 and attended the St. Cloud Hospital School of Nursing. On September 5, 1964, she married the love of her life, Ronald Feia. The couple moved to Rochester in 1966, where Linda worked as a registered nurse in the surgery department at St. Mary's Hospital for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. Linda's kindness and compassion touched everyone who knew her. She was a true caregiver-not by profession alone, but by nature.
Linda cherished her family above all. She and Ron shared 60 years of marriage, raising their children with love and faith. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life-her "harvest coming in"-and she poured herself into their lives with unwavering devotion, never missing a single event. Each grandchild felt uniquely loved in her presence, whether during cherished sleepovers or long, joy-filled weeks at the family cabin in Crosslake, MN. There, she and Ron made sure they experienced all the simple pleasures of life "Up North"-boating, beaching, fishing, swimming in the pool, making new friends, and, of course, plenty of trips to the local ice cream shop.
Linda's faith in Jesus Christ was central to her life. Her trust in God shaped her every interaction, and it brings comfort to know she is now whole and at peace in His presence, reunited with her beloved children, Patrick Michael and Jennifer Rae.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughters Kelly (Mike) Ranfranz and Teri (Jeff) Brezee; six grandchildren: Hilary (Tom) Gallaher, Kathryn Ranfranz, Holly Brezee, Tom (Becca) Ranfranz, Josie (Zack) Mullison, and Joshua Ranfranz; two great-grandchildren, Cecelia Gallaher and Liam Gallaher; and her brother, Rollie (Mary) Adkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Patrick Michael; her daughter, Jennifer Rae; and her sister, Sharon Robinson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal Place NW), with a visitation on Monday, July 14, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
