Lois Enid Bestland

Lois E. Bestland, 99, of Rochester, MN died on November 12, 2021, at the Waters on Mayowood. Lois was born on November 02, 1922, to Paul and Vernith (McCloed) Moore in Enchant, Alberta, Canada. Lois came to the United States in 1944 where she lived in Great Falls, MT., followed by St. Paul, MN., Sioux Falls, SD., Minneapolis, MN., Bismarck, ND., and finally settled in Rochester, MN. in 1968. Lois met Roger Bestland while skating in Canada, and the couple later married in Garden City, KS. on July 10, 1944. She enjoyed traveling and was willing to try anything or go anywhere. Lois also enjoyed knitting, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved very much. She loved to shop with her girls. Lois was a member of the Faribault Area Pilots Association. Lois was known to be kind, thoughtful, patient and willing to help anyone. She will be greatly missed. Lois is survived by her son, Roger Bestland of Webster, MN; daughter, Julie (Bob) Stever of Racine, MN; seven grandchildren, Chris, Andrea, Nicole, Jennifer, Greg, Matt, and Corey; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Aidan, Kia, Cora, Easton, Charley, and Jackson; and a sister; Audrey Williams. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Roger; two daughters, Linda and Janet; a sister, Kaye; and two brothers, Paul and Tony. The family will have a private visitation and service.
