Lorraine Helen Wiesner

ROCHESTER -Lorraine H. Wiesner, 99, died on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester. Lorraine Schedalke was born in Milwaukee, WI on October 9, 1914.She graduated from Girls Tech in Milwaukee.Lorraine married Harold Wiesner in 1940 in Milwaukee.Harold died in 1981.In 1993, Lorraine became one of the first residents at Arbor Terrace and lived there for over 20 years.She enjoyed reading, walking, playing Bingo, and cooking German food. Lorraine is survived by a son, Dr. Russell (Susan) Wiesner, of Rochester; two grandchildren, Matthew (Theresa) Wiesner, of Brooklyn, NY, and Sarah Wiesner of Brooklyn Park, MN; and two great grandchildren, Blaise Wiesner, of Brooklyn, NY, and Nyia Star WiesnerJohnson, of Rochester. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents; and a sister, Beverly. A Memorial Service was held at Samaritan Bethany.Burial will take place at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
