Lucille Lillian Carson

PINE ISLAND Lucille L. Carson , 92, died on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island. Lucille was born in Hammond, MN on June 1, 1919 to Fred and Ella (Dosdall) Dittmar.She married Vernon Carson on September 28, 1938 in Cresco, IA.Lucille enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching TV, and playing bingo.She also enjoyed shopping, traveling, playing the organ, and riding motorcycle. She especially loved spending time with her family. Lucille is survived by six children, David Carson, of Rochester, Elaine Davidson, of Rochester, Michael (Margie) Carson, of Rochester, Barbara Finke, of St. Cloud, MN, Carol (Brian) Denny, of Douglas, MN, and Bruce (Jeanne) Carson, of Rochester; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; her parents; a daughter, Marge; two brothers, Milton and Arvin; and five infant children. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home.Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, August 12, 2001 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Entombment will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
