Margaret Ann Pellegrini

Margaret Ann Pellegrini, 64, of Rochester, MN died on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Cottagewood Senior Communities. Margaret was born February 2, 1957 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Anthony and Elizabeth (Chedester) Pellegrini. She grew up in Vestal, NY and graduated from high school there. Margaret began working at IBM in Endicott, NY in 1978 and later transferred to IBM in Rochester. She married James Steenburgh on May 16, 1992 in Endwell, NY. The couple moved to Rochester in 1993. Margaret was a member of Evangel United Methodist Church. She was very involved in gifted education and did extensive volunteer work in education and teaching. Margaret was also an avid figure skater. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Duncan Steenburgh of Chicago, IL and Tegan Steenburgh of New York City, NY; and three brothers, John Pellegrini of Vestal, NY, David (Karen) Pellegrini of California and Daniel (Sofia) Pellegrini of California. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Evangel United Methodist Church (2645 N Broadway Ave, Rochester, MN 55906). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
