Michael Fishbaugher

Mike Fishbaugher, 65, passed peacefully in his home on January 1st, 2024.

Michael Dean Fishbaugher was born May 24, 1958 in Harmony, MN to Orrin and Cathy (Ruud) Fishbaugher. After graduating from John Marshall High School in 1976, he studied forestry in La Crosse, WI. Mike had a long career driving trucks for BFI, Waste Management, USPS, and eventually Stericycle, where he transported hazardous materials and medical waste for Mayo Clinic. He retired in November 2022.

Mike lived life on his own terms, right up until the end! He found freedom on the open road and loved riding his Harley. He was a great cook and enjoyed making amazing meals for his family. Mike took pride in maintaining a pristine home and a well-groomed lawn. He was always loyal, reliable, and steadfast.

Mike is survived by his children Jami and Ethan, sister Diane, nephew Jon, and granddaughter Indira. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Essex Park in Rochester, MN on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 12pm to 2pm.
