Nancy Switzer

Nancy Ann Switzer, 77, of Rochester, MN passed away on June 30, 2025, in Waseca, MN.

Nancy was born on February 15, 1948, to Thomas and Barbara (Melby) Heighway in Seattle, WA. She grew up in the Madison, WI area and went to college in Oshkosh, WI. She joined the United States Navy and served a 4 year term in Florida.

On April 23, 1977, she married Charles Switzer in Madison, WI. The couple moved to Rochester, MN in 1991.

Nancy enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.

Nancy is survived by sons, Benjamin (Rachel) of Waseca, MN, and Jon of Rochester, MN, 3 grandchildren, Krislynn, Daniel and Abigail; siblings, Susan (Andrew) Bachhuber of Madison, WI, Robbi (Richard) Noble of Waukesha, WI and John (Mary Chris) Heighway of Waukesha, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles, and brother Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
