Nicholas Anthony Gikas, age 66, of Rochester, MN passed away on April 15, 2026 unexpectedly at his home.
Nicholas was born on August 26, 1959 in Rochester MN to parents Anthony and Helen (Chonis) Gikas. He grew up in Rochester and graduated from Mayo High School. He worked a range of different jobs but ultimately spent the majority of his career in hospitality.
Nicholas is survived by his sister Michelle (Galen "Shorty") Kinsley of Rochester, MN; daughter, Lynzzy Thompson of Stewartville, MN; and two granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Helen.
