Patrick Andrew Chambers, 64, of Rochester, MN, lost his fight against cancer on September 1, 2021. He was formerly from Clifton, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife, Mary Trandem Chambers; 2 children, Dan and Erin Chambers; 4 sisters, Helen Colligan, Margaret Kathleen Krawiec, Evelyn (Lynne) Nick, Maureen Kassten; 2 brothers, Andrew and Bill. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Andrew Chambers; mother, Helen Evelyn Pierson, sisters, Mary Lee, Laraine, and his brothers Sean and David. Patrick was born in Passaic, New Jersey on April 6, 1957. He graduated high school in 1975 and served in the military as a hospital corpsman thereafter until 1981. He met his wife while stationed at the Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Patrick married Mary in 1978 and they have been married 43 years. Patrick was active in the youth programs of New Jersey. He was placed on the Clifton honor roll for his participation. He was involved with the Bemidji, MN Jaycees, Elk & Eagles organizations, and Camp Heartland. He was a member of the Pax Christi Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling (two 300 games), boating, and golfing. He enjoyed all sports, either participating himself or watching his children play. He had a passion for life, family, faith, military service, and country. A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 4135 18th Ave NW, Rochester, MN. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Pax Christi Catholic Church. A celebration of life gathering will follow at the Eagles Club at 12:30 pm. Inurnment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
