Paul Musolf

Paul T. Musolf, 85, of Rochester, MN passed away on December 22, 2025, at his home with family at his side.

Paul was born in Kasson, MN on July 31, 1940, to Orrie and Beulah (Todd) Musolf. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1958. On December 15, 1962, Paul married Patricia Cox in Rochester.

In 1977, the couple moved to Chatfield. They resided there until 2015 when they moved to The Waters on Mayowood in Rochester, and most recently reside at Forte Living of Rochester.

Paul played in a trumpet trio in High School. He was a founding member of the Flying Clutchmen Car Club in Rochester, in his younger years. Cars were a true love and passion of Paul's. His most prized cars were a 1962 Chevrolet Corvair, 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air and his 1966 and 1967 Pontiac GTO's. Paul worked as a mechanic at various gas stations on Broadway in Rochester. Among his other accomplishments, Paul was the Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge #1091 in Rochester in 1987 and Paul was also a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges. He was an excellent carpenter, plumber, and electrician. He could build/ rebuild anything and was a true "Jack of All Trades." In his 50 plus year career he worked at Williams Printing and later Custom Printing for the majority of his career, both in Rochester. Paul loved to watch the Minnesota Vikings play and watch Nascar races.

Paul is survived by his wife, Pat; his children, Tod (Emily) Musolf of Rochester, MN and Brad (Marta) Musolf of St. Louis Park, MN; grandchildren, Brittany Holzem, Allison (Tyler) Morical, Jacob Musolf, Archer Simpson, Greydon Simpson, and Hannah Twedt; and one great grandson, Elias Holzem.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Duane; sister-in-law, Patricia; and grandson, Brandon Musolf.

A celebration of life will be held from 11:00am - 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre, 5482 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. A light lunch will be served.
