Phyllis I. Prigge, 90, of Rochester, MN, died on April 28, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN with family by her side.
Phyllis, daughter of Clyde and Gertrude (Rossi) Wilson was born on August 19, 1935 in Pine Island, MN.
She graduated from Pine Island High School, then worked at the First National Bank for 13 years. She married Donald Prigge in Rochester on April 29, 1967. She then worked side by side with him on their Dairy farm.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, puzzles as well as being an accomplished bowler. She was often seen surrounded by yarn - making many washcloths and potholders.
She is survived by brother-in-law, Bruce Witte; sister-in-law, Helen Miller; brother-in-law's Walt (Joan) Prigge and Bill (LaMae) Prigge; and the following nieces and nephews: Becky Wilson, Lisa (Andy) Hanson, Rick Wilson, Matt Wilson, Deanna (Mark) Phillips, Wayne (Dawn) Witte, Janet (Rion) Fuller, Eugene (Cheryl) Witte, Lois Huey, Marge Axtman, Tarry (Ashley) Samsel, Joe Prigge, Kathy (Tom) Johnson, Linda Miller, Ed (Becci) Miller, Janet (Al) Leisen, Kari Prigge, Susan (Randy) Holz, Matt (Ann) Prigge, Eric (Kathy) Cram, Amy (Karl) Bolt, Jenny (Matt) Raffenbeul, Jim Prigge, Ellen (Duane) Sheehan, Deb (Matt) Cage, Bob (Jen) Prigge, and Brad (Cara) Prigge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; two brothers, Wayne and David; two sisters, Bernice Carrozza, Donna Witte, brothers in law Lorenz Prigge, David Miller, Ken Prigge, sisters in law Anita Prigge, Joan Prigge, Dorothy Prigge. One Nephew Tom Prigge.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Pl NW Rochester, MN 55901). Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
Memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church in Byron, MN.
