Robert Dennis Meek

March 30, 1942 — February 24, 2026

Robert "Bob" Dennis Meek was born March 30, 1942, in Osage, Iowa to Dorothy and Aloysius Meek. He passed away on February 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at St Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

Bob graduated from Visitation School in Stacyville, Iowa in 1960. He met and married the love of his life, Greta (Bisping) in 1967. Bob became a self-starter in many fields of the business world from selling livestock, farm feed and farm equipment to becoming a stockbroker, a real estate agent, and a crop farmer with his brother Mike for a number of years. After, finding his true calling as an entrepreneur in the investment world, he purchased the Crossroads Shopping Center and later Universal Ford/Toyota dealership locally with his long time business partner, Victor L Scott. Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his ever-growing family and his dear close friends. Bob and Greta split time between their Rochester, MN home and their winter home in Tucson, Arizona for the last 30 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Greta, their children and their spouses; Jenna and Chris Rohe, Blair and Suzie Meek, Leigh Ann and Kevin Peltoma, Kristi and Erik White; their grandchildren who lovingly called him "Papa"; Kassidy and Tim, Max, Marshal and Bella, Eli, Carson and Clare, Megan and Tony, Aubrie, Parker, Evan, Robby and their great grandchildren: Dax, Oaklyn and Ozzy. Along with many other extended family and close friends.

Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing that his was truly a life well lived with an abundance of kindness, integrity and devotion to his family.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Aloysius, his mother Dorothy and stepfather Leo, two brothers Mike and Edward.

The family is having a private service at a later date.
