Rosemary I. Anderson passed away on July 25th, 2026. She was born in 1932 to Irene and Raymond Peterson in St. Cloud, MN. They lived briefly in Silver Creek, MN and later moved to Albert Lea, MN in 1933. She grew up there and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1951. She was united in marriage in 1955 to Conrad Anderson at First Lutheran Church. After their marriage, they moved to Rochester, MN and were eventually blessed with two children, David and Karen. Rose was a loving and caring mother. She loved to read, golf, knit and play cards! She worked at Dayton's Dept Store for 20 years and was also an active leader in the Cub Scouts with her son. She and her husband were members of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church since 1955.
Rose is survived by her husband of 71 years, Conrad; her two children, David Anderson and Karen (Anderson) Arleo (& Mike Arleo), her grandson, Connor Arleo, her two granddaughters, Abbi & Kyleigh Anderson and one great-granddaughter, Hadley!
Rose is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Thatcher Peterson, and her step-father.
A memorial service for Rose will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, July 31st, 2026 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901) with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, MN following the service at the funeral home.
