Aug 21, 1962 — Sep 6, 2026

Sheila Faith Pudlick (Thompson), 64, of Grey Eagle, MN died Sunday, September 6, 2026 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN after a very short and aggressive battle with lung cancer.

Sheila was born on August 21, 1962, in Madison, MN to Elroy & Leone Thompson. She grew up in Minneapolis and was a proud graduate of Patrick Henry High School in 1980. Sheila went on to obtain her Cosmetology License and continued to be a hair stylist to many, but really was a Jack of all Trades.

Sheila met her husband, Jerry, in high school, and their love grew into a beautiful marriage that lasted 42 years. Together they raised three children - Gina, Jessica, and Jarrett; who were the center of their world. In their early years as a family, Sheila cherished camping trips, ice‑fishing adventures, and cheering on the kids at their sporting events.

In recent years, nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her beloved grandchildren: AJ, Raegen, and Aubrey. Sheila was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, her bright smile and contagious laugh filling every gathering with fun.

Survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry; daughter, Gina (Charlie); son, Jarrett (Abby); and mother, Leone. Grandchildren AJ, Raegen, and Aubrey; In laws Larry (Sandy), Lori, Allen, Gail, Ron, Paula, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica; sisters LeAnn Gourneau, Shelley Queenan; brother Brian Thompson; stepfather Dillard Hehr; father Elroy; parent in laws Eugene and Patricia Pudlick; niece Melinda Pudlick; nephew Greg Pudlick, and brother-in-law Tim Howard.

Even at her death, Sheila was still helping others: donating her eyes to help 2 people regain their vision again.

As Sheila would say to her grandkids - "see you later alligator".
