Tami Louise Rinn

Tami L. Rinn, age 67, of Rochester, MN passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Thursday, July 30th, 2026. Tami was born on June 5th, 1959, in Rochester, MN to James Francis Rinn and Lois May (Chuchna) Rinn. She attended and graduated from Mayo High School in 1977. She attended vocational school for training to be a medical secretary. This led to a 44-year career at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester as an admin assistant. She also worked at the First Presbyterian Church in Rochester providing security. Tami loved her family, she enjoyed following all her nephews around with all their sporting events. She loved her cat, Spike. Tami enjoyed riding her bike on trails around Rochester and to travel when she could.

Her close friends, Kellee Eisterhold, Katelynn, Tim and Hazel meant so much to her and provided many memories for Tami.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lois Rinn; and her brother, Thomas Francis Rinn.

She is survived by her siblings, Sally (Kevin) Evans, and Kenneth (Cindi) Rinn; her nephews and their children, Bryce James Evans (Amanda) and their child Easton; Blaine Carl Evans; Jason (Jacque) Kenneth Rinn and their children, Reid, Riley and Reese; and Adam Lee Rinn (Bridgette) and their children, Alex, Emma, Maya, and Deston; her sister-in-law, Linda Rinn; and numerous extended family members.

Tami's wishes were for everyone to gather, eat, and share memories. A Celebration of Life for Tami will be held on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 from 12:00PM to 3:00PM at the Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre (5482 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mayo Clinic Hospice who provided excellent care for Tami in her home.
