Vasile Sinzianu

Mr. Vasile (Vasy) Sinzianu, husband of the late Constantina,and father of Florin (Angela) Sinzianu and Cristina Sinzianu, and bunic to Ioan and Cristian Sinzianu fell asleep in the Lord on August 15, 2026, the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God. He is preceded in death by siblings in Romania and is survived by siblings, nieces and nephews in Romania.

Mr. Sinzianu was born in Coarnele de Caprei, Moldova, Romania on November 17, 1942. He immigrated to the United States in January 1989. He did the best he could to provide for his family under difficult circumstances in both Romania and the United States.

His journey in life included work in Germany, time in Wisconsin and California and his final resting place will be at the Oakwood Cemetery next to his wife in Rochester Minnesota.

The funeral will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10am at Holy Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church in Rochester, MN. The service will be officiated by Fr. Nick Hubbard (Holy Anargyroi) and Fr. Ioan Poptelecan (St. Stephen Romanian Orthodox, St. Paul, MN). Friends and family can gather prior to the funeral for a visitation at 9:30 a.m.

May our good Lord grant forgiveness and rest to our Tata and Bunicu. And may He forgive us all.
