William "Bill" John Rehm, 77, of Rochester, died on November 23, 2021 at Mayo Clinic, St. Marys Campus, in Rochester, Minnesota. William was born on August 26, 1944 to parents John and Margaret (Brown) Rehm in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Bill graduated high school in Cresco, Iowa and attended Universal Trade School in Omaha, Nebraska for auto body repair. He took a job at the Ford dealership in Winona and then moved to Rochester in 1967 to start his own auto body repair shop with his brother Ronald. They sold the shop in 2004. Bill started farming in 1975 and gained another full-time job; it continued to be a passion for him for many years. Around 2000, he got his license in real estate. On December 27, 1964 he married Connie Brown and they later divorced. In his retirement years, he loved to cook, enjoyed going to the cabin, and was excited about all cars, especially convertibles. During his later years, he also enjoyed giving back in the community by volunteering at the Mayo Clinic. Bill cared deeply for others and was a very kind, generous, and giving man who drew strength from his faith in Christ. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was able to connect with people wherever he travelled.
