Jason Mark Cerri was born January 20, 1975 in Springfield, MA to Reno and Judi (Boyer) Cerri, Jr. He grew up in East Longmeadow, MA and attended EL Schools until his sophmore year. He attended Bethany Assembly of God Church, Agawan, MA, and was an avid Royal Ranger and loved the Youth Group there. In 1990, Jason moved to Byron with his family. He attended Rochester Assembly of God Church and was active in the youth group and as a LT Commander in the Royal Rangers. He harvested his biggest buck ever this past fall, a 170+ class 11 point buck, which gave him great pleasure. But his fondest love was his little boy, Dominic. And Jason was always there to patiently provide the best answer he could.Jason was known by all as a good friend, he was always willing to help. And many knew that and called on him often for whatever the need.Jason will be sorely missed by his parents, Reno and Judi Cerri, Jr. of Byron; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennie and Jason Ochocki of Byron; his three nephews, Jake, Dylan, and Ryan Ochocki; his niece, Joey (JoJo) Ockocki; his grandparents, Reno and Vera Cerri, Sr. of Suffield, CT; cousins, uncle and aunts, and many many friends; but most of all, by his son, Dominic. Cherish each day like it's your last, because you never know which one it will be. I had the privilege of working with Jason and experiencing his eye for quality work. He really had a knack for keeping employees and contractors on their toes and didn't accept anything less than their best work. His love for his son was evident in his candor amongst the guys at work; always a favorite subject of his and never afraid to show his soft side when talking about him. Please accept our condolences to Jason's family on your loss. God bless you.
Jason- It seems like only yesterday that you and I were sitting side by side at camp the year we received the "Outstanding Camper" awards. What an honor it was to share that with you as you were such an outstanding person. We were so blessed to have shared those years at Bethany and at Lakeside with you there making us laugh all the time :)
To the Cerri Family- Our thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family. May the Lord bring you comfort and His peace!
Our deepest sympathies to Jason's Family. Jason hired me as a utility locator for ELM in 2007. I enjoyed learning from him and getting to know him. I always felt like I could count on him and he would be there for me if I had a problem on the job. I am very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Jason and I were best friends since I learned how to crawl. Jason was strong man with a gentle heart. Memories from sleepovers, camping, and Royal Rangers will always be with me. Jason will be missed but is now with the Lord.
Old friend, not too many of my childhood memories take place without you. I'll miss knowing you are just across the country, but I know you're probably getting in some good hunting up there in Heaven.
p.s. you still owe me some bowling! ;)
Dear Jason, we always had so much fun growing up at Bethany together. Sledding parties and potato launchers are only a few memories. Lakeside Banquets were always fun because of you. Especially the year you won "Best Camper". Love and prayers.
Jason was a wonderful young man. He was always friendly whenever we saw him. It is sad to think of him not on this earth but wonderful to know he is having a great time in the presence of his Savior. We will pray for Dominic that he will follow in his father's footsteps so someday he will reunite with him and his Heavenly Father. May you feel God's arms of comfort with your loss of Jason in this life.
Our prayers are with you and your family.
It is hard to believe a guy I swam in the poo, and went on camping trips with, is gone. However, I know you have departed to be with the Lord. Now, may the Lord provide for your son.
I don't think you have an idea how much you will be missed Cerri. You were an amazing addition to our family, and I'm very sorry we didn't have more time together. Keep on smiling down on us.
To the family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort you all in this time of sorrow and grief. We love you all!
Jason, you will forver in mind mind be known as Boss Man to me. I remember the first day I called you that you just looked at me, cocked your head to the sky and rolled your eyes in the air as if you were thinking and said " Yeah, I guess that'll work" Not only were you a natural leader but you were a great friend not only to me but to alot of other people. I can still see those shades moving from the top of your head to your eyes without even using your hands. You will be missed Jason, but you will always be loved by everyone. Rest well my friend and we will see you another time.
You will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace Big Guy
Our Deepest sympathy to your family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless and watch over your little boy!
