Dear Marc and Matthew,

I am so so sad to hear this terrible news. Mandy was so warm and welcoming to us, a bunch of foreign exchange students, excited to watch our first Super Bowl at your house. Mandy will be missed by all the people that met her, and even by those who just met her briefly. You are in our thoughts.

Steve and LuAnn,

I won't pretend to know how you feel, because you are going through an experience that very few people must face. Still, I suspect that, having faced life head-on and succeeded in your endeavors, you will survive and flourish. Please accept my sincere sympathy for now, and my best wished for the future.

R Rick Beale on Sep 9, 2010

I am very sorry for your loss. Mandy touched many lives in VA via her efforts with my clients and was a joy to work with. She was truly a great success as the following quote states:

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

My thoughts are with all who knew her,

Rick

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Mandy very well...but I knew Mark through work at Johnson Outdoors.

My deepest and most hearfelt sympathies go out to all family members, but especially Matthew. He is truly a blessing, and I'm sad to think he will only have just memories of such a loving and caring individual, however I know that you will make sure he realizes just how much he meant to her and her daddy.

HUGS to you all during this difficult time.

Marc, Matthew, and family -
You are in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days to come. I worked with Mandy at Capstone. Though I didn't know her well, one didn't have to in order to appreciate her warm heart and bright smile. I remember seeing her recently at a company meeting (about a week before Matthew was born) and thinking what a radiant, happy mother-to-be she seemed to be. Cherish all of the memories and hold them dear.

Steve,LuAnn,Brandon,Danielle,Mark, and Matthew,

We share in your shock and grief over the untimely and senseless passing of your beautiful Mandy. Mandy was such a sweet and thoughtful soul. Her beauty was inside and out. We have so many fond memories of her when she was growing up. She was a great role model for Jess and Brianna. They always loved being with her. The only blessing from this was that she gave you Matthew, and Mandy will live through Matthew. We are here for you whenever you need us. Just call. We love you all so very much. Paulette & Trent

Dear Marc and Matthew,

So sorry to hear about your loss.

I found this quote that I wanted to share with you guys:
" Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear. "
