FROM CHILE, I WILL MISS DR ZINCKE.THE MENTOR.  I STILL REMEMBER THE WEEK END 1989 IN SPIDER LAKE.   YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY.   YOURS FOR EVER   R.MORALES.

Horst, I will always miss you! You gave your patients all your energy, wrapped in an attitude of strength, when ours was low - You carried us! In my case - it was 1973 and you worked tirelessly! Catching short naps on the circular ward table at Station 54.

Had you not insisted on larger doses of solu-medrol - I would not have kept my sisters kidney that you and Dr. John Woods placed so well within my body!

Now, it's 38 years / same kidney! You are gone too soon.

How do you establish a 'yardstick' for success in caring! Giving 100% all the time to achieve the best possible results over and over again! I met you, a young man in 1973, you gave your all to all your patients. To your loved ones

I can only say Thank You for sharing and giving Horst to his life's work.

His contributions were many. His smile was energizing. His temper was fairly

applied to benefit his patients. He saved lives - He saved mine! I will miss him.

My prayers are with each of his loved ones. Thank you for your sacrifice!

Because of Horst and the Team of 73' so many have enjoyed The Gift of Life!

When I hold onto my dear wife, Laura and son, Aedan ...I know

that I have been blessed by his work!

I love you Dr. Horst Zincke! And I Thank You! I will remember the laughter too.

Dear Maren,

Having just returned from the SPS in Toronto I was thinking how much I missed seeing you both.  I didn't realize that Horst was so much older than we are & thus retired.  We have fond memories of both of you!

You & your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
