Dear family of George, How he loved you all. He told me every visit about you all, and was so proud of each of you. Our 2002 and 2005 reunions at South Zumbro were attended best by George's family -- because he worked so hard to let you all know and encouraged you to come. His life revolved around love of his parents, siblings and you children. I cherish the visit in 2016 with Joan Eidem, Lucy Phelps, my husband, George and me. He was a wonderful, humble and such a good humored man. I loved to hear him laugh. Now, he's laughing with the angels. Waiting for you to join him. He was my grandmother, Ida Sanvik Fjerstad's first cousin, and the last of his generation. I shall miss him. God be with you as you mourn the loss of such a special man. Linda Sharp in Alaska
