Emerson M. Harberts, 8, of Dodge Center, MN died Friday, September 7, 2018 from injuries sustained in a car accident in Claremont, MN.
Emerson Melissa Harberts was born July 8, 2010 in Albert Lea, MN to Brandon and Rachel (Post) Harberts. Emerson was in the 3rd grade at Blooming Prairie Elementary. She loved going to school and reading. In her free time, you would find her singing, dancing, playing dress up and swimming. Emerson just learned how to water ski this year. She enjoyed going to her grandparent's houses, playing with her cousins at the beach and boating with her family. Emerson loved receiving flowers on her birthday from her daddy, which was something she looked forward to every year. Her favorite treats were freeze pops and ice cream. Emerson often had the most beautiful braids in her long blonde hair.
Emerson is survived by her father, Brandon Harberts and her brother, Jaxon of Dodge Center, MN; her grandparents, Paul and Lynette Harberts of Rochester, MN and Jerry and Sharon Post of Lanesboro, MN; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (1212 12th Avenue NW Rochester, MN). Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
