My family lived directly across the street from the Rausch's. Mavis was a wonderful person and so kind to all the neighborhood kids. Please accept my family's condolences on the loss of your Mom. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Deb, Terri, and Susan Alexander
Our sincere condolences to the entire Rausch family and friends; from U.S Navy Fire & Emergency Services Team.
I worked with Mavis in "old" Methodist on second floor. She was an outstanding teacher for me as a new grad. Her patience and skill was admirable. She will be missed. Ginny Gosselin
I worked with Mavis many years ago when I was a new grad. She was so friendly and helpful, always a smile on her face. I have fond memories of Mavis, she brightened the world around her.
I worked with the delightful Mavis at Methodist Hospital Station 43 from 1968-73. She was fun, caring and smart. We had many fun times both at work and socializing outside of work. You kids may remember that your mom & dad got a German Shepard puppy from me—I believe you named him Major. Rest In Peace, Mavis, a special lady indeed!
Mavis was a gift to the whole neighborhood when she walked the area collecting trash every morning. She always had a kind and gentle word for everyone she met. We are saddened by her loss. Jan and Bob
