Thomas "Tom" Lew Huggett, born in Janesville, WI, November 8, 1947 died peacefully June 20, 2020 in Rochester, MN at the age of 72 with his family by his side following a courageous 3 year battle with cancer under Hospice Care at Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN.

His career in finance began in Minneapolis, MN at Fairview Hospital, Fairview Southdale Hospital, and Methodist Hospital. In 1980 Tom moved with wife and children, Jennifer and Teresa, to Medford, WI where he was Vice President of Finance for Memorial Hospital of Taylor County until retirement.

Tom was an amazing Grandpa and enjoyed attending many sports and activity events to cheer for and support his 5 grandchildren.

Tom was an avid fisherman and golfer and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. He enjoyed many trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area on canoe trip excursions and in Canada for fishing fly-ins with friend, Bill Flahave. Bill also introduced Tom to the sport of golf. They enjoyed various trips to northern Minnesota, Alabama and Hawaii further enjoying the sport. Tom avidly played golf during the summer season with a close group of friends in Medford, WI with early morning golf and senior tournament play.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy of Pine Island, his children Jennifer (Kevin) Therriault of Green Bay, WI and Teresa (Kevin) Erickson of Rochester, MN, 5 grandchildren, Ava and Will Therriault, Shawn, Cora and Kullen Erickson. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Ruth Huggett, and brother-in-law Thomas Chrones.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mayo Clinic (Eisenberg, Oncology, Palliative Care, and Hospice Care, and many others) for the wonderful, tender loving care through this time.

A private ceremony will be held with the family.
